Hormone therapy is not only safe, it can be life saving. Modern research shows that having optimal hormones through the later stages in life can improve the quality of life and extend lifespan in otherwise healthy adults.*
*Please do not take this as medical advice. Always consult with a properly trained licensed practitioner before starting any hormone therapy program.
Hormone therapy of any kind is a very individualized approach and requires lab work and a one on one consultation with one of our licensed practitioners. Your blood test results and your forty-five minute consultation with our specially trained medical professionals will determine if you qualify and are in need of any hormone therapy.
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, also known as bioidentical hormone therapy or natural hormone therapy, is the use of hormones that are identical on a molecular level to your own hormones produced in your body. Aspire Rejuvenation Clinic always uses bioidentical hormones over synthetic variants.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a medical treatment that uses natural or synthetic hormones to restore hormone levels to those found in people who are biologically young. HRT has many uses, including for treatments of menopause and low testosterone. Women may use HRT to relieve symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats. Men may use it after testosterone levels drop below normal due to age or certain medical conditions.
Hormonal imbalances happen to many men and women as a result of natural bodily changes that come with age, such as menopause in women or andropause in men.
Unfortunately, these changes in our ability to produce and adequately maintain healthy hormone levels can lead to symptoms such as weight gain, hair loss, low sex drive, depression, mood swings and many more. For many, these changes are often just accepted and left untreated causing a diminished quality of life and can even negatively affect lifespan.
Any medical practitioner with the proper licensing can prescribe HRT, however it is highly recommended that the practitioner is specially trained and certified in hormone therapy. Our practitioners are specially trained and certified in diagnosing and prescribing HRT through organizations such as Worldlink Medical and A4M.
Hormone replacement therapy works by increasing the levels of certain hormones so that balance is restored to the body. Hormone levels can be increased in a number of ways based on the unique situation.
